Sliding Door Specialist - Premier Sliding Door Repair Services in Playa Del Rey

Sand is part of everyday life in Playa Del Rey. It blows off the beach, rides in on shoes and towels, and settles straight into the bottom track of every patio and balcony door. Once enough of it collects, the rollers start grinding against grit instead of rolling on smooth metal, and both the rollers and the track wear down quickly. A quick sweep or vacuum of the track every week or two helps, but once the rollers are damaged, cleaning alone will not bring back that easy glide.

Ocean air adds corrosion to the mix, especially on older aluminum doors close to the beach. We see many doors here that are hard to slide, jump off the track or no longer lock. Our process is to clean and inspect the track, replace worn or rusted rollers, repair or replace the track itself if it has been scored or dented, and realign the panel so it closes snugly. Locks and handles are repaired or replaced as needed to restore security.

Wind is another local factor. A loose door or tired weatherstripping lets breezes, moisture and noise slip inside. New seals tighten things up and make rooms more comfortable, particularly on doors that face the ocean. We also handle glass replacement, pocket doors and mirror closet doors, along with Milgard and Pella patio sliders.

From beach cottages to hillside homes and condos, we cover all of Playa Del Rey and the surrounding West Los Angeles neighborhoods. Dial 888-440-9003 to speak with our team, or go online to book a free estimate when it is convenient for you.
