Sliding Door Specialist - Premier Sliding Door Repair Services in Playa Vista

Playa Vista is one of the newest communities in the area, filled with modern condos, townhomes and apartments designed around balconies, terraces and courtyards. Because the buildings are relatively young, many residents are surprised when a sliding door starts acting up. The reality is that heavy daily use, dust and a little ocean air can wear rollers and adjustments faster than expected. Doors in a newer building also settle along with the structure during the first several years, and that movement often shows up first as a latch that no longer lines up.

Newer doors often need fine-tuning more than major parts. A panel that was not perfectly adjusted at installation, or that has settled slightly, can rub, rattle or refuse to latch. We correct alignment, adjust or replace rollers, and clean out tracks that collected debris over time. When a handle feels loose or a lock will not catch, we repair or replace the hardware so the door secures as designed.

Modern buildings also tend to feature large glass panels and sleek hardware, and we work with that style rather than against it, choosing replacement parts that match the original finish and function. Tall panels are handled with care, and we protect flooring and nearby surfaces while we work. Our services include weatherstripping, glass replacement, pocket doors, mirror closet doors and Milgard and Pella sliders.
